Meet Our Expert Team

Dr. Phyllis M. Ishida has been practicing general dentistry in the Silicon Valley for over 30 years. She is a graduate of the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry where she is a Willard C. Fleming Scholar. Dr. Ishida is a member of several professional associations including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Santa Clara County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, International Team for Implants, and International Academy of Dental Research. She has earned several awards such as the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow award, City of Cupertino STAR award, and Cupertino Chamber of Commerce Crest award; for all her hard work helping others. Dr. Ishida enjoys serving her community and works hard to make sure her patients are comfortable.

Debbie graduated from Foothill College’s Dental Hygiene Program in 1996. She has been with Dr. Ishida part time since 2010. Debbie’s favorite part of the job is being able to interact with patients, making them feel comfortable, and seeing their great smiles!

Margarita has been working for Dr. Ishida since 2014. She graduated from Advanced Dental Assisting program in 2001. Margarita became a dental assistant because she loves helping people. She has experience in Endodontics, Orthodontics, and General Dentistry. She likes to spend time with her daughter, Daniella, and is very fond of her vacations to Cancun, Mexico.

Jenny has worked in the dental field since 2009 starting as a chair-side Dental Assistant (DA). She is now our Administrative Manager at Dr Ishida’s since 2014! Helping people learn about their overall health and how they can make it better is a great satisfaction for her. On her free time she loves going on food adventures, spending time with her family and dog (Pochacco), and going to the gym!

Doris graduated from Foothill college back in 2020 and joined Dr. Ishida’s team in 2024. Because of her extensive dental experience growing up, she is truly empathetic with those in the chair. She is very meticulous with her care and education so that everyone can avoid a traumatic experience.

Tiffany joined Dr. Ishida’s team in 2021. She truly enjoys educating patients on how to keep their teeth nice and healthy. It is her main goal to make sure that patients are always comfortable in the chair and strives to make dental cleanings as pleasant as possible. In her free time, Tiffany enjoys shopping and eating adventures as well as traveling to different places!
